Why would you be interested?You could earn 3 units of college credit by completing either class. Earn 6 units of college credit by taking both classes!
Students who plan to take/articulate the Careers with Infants and Toddlers capstone course MUST have earned college credit for CLDV01 (it is a prerequisite at Merced College)
How do you earn your credit?
Pass the class successfully (“B” or higher both semesters).
Take the pre-arranged assessment with the college professors in May with Mrs. Meyer.

Multiple Choice Assessment
- approximately 70 question (pregnancy - adolescence). Students will be prepared for the assessment through class work as well as a study session prior to the test day.
- Part I: Field Assessment, students will conduct 5 distinct Field Assignments interviews and/or observations with the following: pregnant woman, toddler, preschooler, school age child, and adolescent.
- Part II: Analyze the 5 field assignments into a comprehensive essay identifying specifically what the student learned demonstrating their understanding of child development.
- This assignment will be completed under the direction of Mrs. Meyer during the Spring semester with only those students who are interested in articulation.
Health and Family Living articulated with HEALTH 10

- 100 question assessment on all topics covered in class. Students will be prepared for the assessment through class work as well as study session prior to test day.
